We are looking for a talented Structural Engineer with EPC project experience in the metals and minerals industry. The role involves designing and reviewing structural systems for large-scale industrial plants and infrastructure while ensuring safety, quality, and timely delivery.

Structural Engineer Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Perform design and analysis of concrete, steel, and foundation structures.
  • Review and prepare engineering drawings, calculations, and specifications.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant codes and standards (AISC, ACI, Eurocodes, IS codes).
  • Provide technical support during procurement, fabrication, and construction.
  • Assist with structural integrity checks and address site-related engineering issues.
  • Collaborate with civil, piping, and mechanical teams for integrated plant designs.
  • Support knowledge sharing and contribute to continuous improvement in engineering practices.

Structural Engineer Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Structural or Civil Engineering.
  • 7+ years’ experience in structural engineering/design, including EPC projects in metals/mining/heavy industry.
  • Strong knowledge of reinforced concrete, steel structures, and foundations.
  • Proficiency in STAAD Pro, SAP2000, ETABS, Tekla, or similar tools.
  • Excellent teamwork, communication, and problem-solving abilities.

Structural Engineer Physical Demands

  • Must be able to work weekends and long hours in a high-pressure working environment. 
  • Must be accessible at any time for emergencies. 
  • Requires frequent bending, stooping and lifting. 
  • Must be able to sit for extended periods of time. 
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds occasionally.
