TEC is the largest and most experienced erosion control contractor in the Southeast and we are currently growing. TEC offers comprehensive erosion control, specialty materials, forestry, and other site clean-up/control services to a wide variety of clients.

 Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Oversee and direct daily operations of the Branch (department) with total profit-making responsibility for operations, working in conjunction with sales to generate revenue.
  • Provides direction and leadership to approximately 20 Field Workers and 5 Area Managers, and ensures effective operations, complete customer satisfaction, and long-term sustainable growth.
  • Assumes complete responsibility for P&L performance and drives operational adjustments as needed to achieve and surpass targets and goals.
  • Develops, implements and perpetuates employee compliance with company policies and procedures related to human resource policy, compensation administration, safety, and field, or other general operations.
  • Establishes and promotes contacts with appropriate local and state agencies, associations, developers, and other prospective customers, to obtain work for the company and to enhance good public relations.
  • Partnering with corporate teams to manage the facilities, personnel, materials, equipment, and property allocated to their location.
  • Interface with sales management and accounting team ensuring quality services are delivered timely, within margins and results are met.
  • Develops and implements strategic and tactical plans. Identifying current and future KPIs, making and executing key recommendations in meeting the changing needs. 

 Required Qualifications:

  • Construction Services or experience working in a sub-contractor environment/role.
  • Site work, grading and heavy equipment experience and site development sequencing
  • Familiar with different machines and usage
  • Must be able to read and understand civil engineering plans and the information within
  • 6-10 years of managerial experience, with increasing responsibility for P&L and overall business success.
  • Strong business acumen in driving financial performance, team motivation, and operational excellence.
  • Ability to identify, measure, and manage KPIs of the business plan.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Exceptional customer service, people, and presentation skills.

 Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree and construction services experience.
  • Bi-Lingual (English & Spanish) a plus.
  • Experience working in fast-paced, high turnover environments.
  • Knowledgeable in DOT, OSHA, and safety compliance. 
  • Team player capable of building partnerships with the organization’s support teams.
