About the Role
As a Project Equipment Manager, you’ll play a key leadership role in keeping our projects running smoothly and safely. You’ll oversee all equipment maintenance and repair operations on your assigned job sites — managing skilled technicians, coordinating with project teams, and ensuring that our fleet performs at its best.
This is an opportunity to take ownership of equipment performance on major infrastructure projects while leading a team that values safety, precision, and efficiency.
What You’ll Do

Lead a team of technicians focused on safe, high-quality equipment maintenance.

Monitor equipment utilization using telematics and recommend improvements.

Inspect project equipment, coordinate repairs, and ensure regulatory compliance.

Serve as the go-to contact for field leadership regarding equipment needs and repairs.

Partner with vendors and manage third-party service providers.

Recruit, train, and mentor new technicians.

Coordinate fuel supply and parts inventory for your project.

Generate reports, track performance data, and support continuous improvement.
What You Bring

2+ years of heavy equipment management experience.

Mechanical background with hands-on knowledge of heavy construction equipment.

Strong leadership and team-building skills.

Ability to make sound decisions under pressure and adapt to changing conditions.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Viewpoint Vista experience a plus.

Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as needed.

AEMP Certified Equipment Manager (CEM) or Equipment Management Specialist (EMS) preferred.
