  • Champion Collaboration & Communication: Serve as a liaison among subcontractors, designers, consultants, and clients to promote transparency and teamwork throughout the preconstruction phase.
  • Support Constructability Reviews: Partner with project teams and designers to identify constructability issues, value-engineering opportunities, and cost-saving solutions.
  • Advance Value Analysis: Develop and present cost-effective alternatives and scope adjustments that improve project value without compromising quality.
  • Promote Consistency in Estimating Practices: Coordinate with Operations and fellow Estimators to ensure General Conditions and Requirements are properly captured and standardized.
  • Oversee Document Control: Manage incoming drawings and specifications, ensuring accurate organization, version control, and timely distribution to all stakeholders.
  • Guide Post-Bid Activities: Document, review, and act on bid results, finalize scopes, and make recommendations for subcontract awards to the project leadership team.
  • Mentor Junior Staff: Supervise and support Assistant Estimators and Interns, fostering skill development and collaboration within the preconstruction team.
  • Leverage Technology: Utilize BuzzBID and other estimating tools to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and data management throughout the estimating process.
