We are a privately owned and operated company, formed in 1991, with an accomplished background with an impressive projects completed portfolio.

ANDRES is currently accepting applications for a future opening as an Assistant Superintendent.

 

Assistant Superintendent Knowledge and Experience Requirements:

  • College degree preferred but not required

  • 1-6+ years High Density Multifamily / Commercial Construction experience

  • Quality Control experience with Procore or similar inspection tools is a bonus

Assistant Superintendent Responsibilities (not limited to):

    · Advocate safety as number one priority on the jobsite and enforce compliance with company/ jobsite safety plan, policies, and all safety-related regulations

    · Review and verify subcontractor layout and plumb/square installations

    · Assist in the scheduling and coordination of trade partners, as well as ensure accuracy regarding weekly workplan software

    · Assist in verifying installation duration, submittals, and shop drawing review

    · Assist in the daily documentation of site happenings and items that are behind/on/ahead of schedule

    · Attend and participate in jobsite subcontractor coordination meetings

    · Responsible for full utilization of ANDRES technologies and processes where applicable

    · Assist with overall job quality / as-builts

    · Consistently implement quality control process utilizing the Procore Inspection Tool, 360 photos, and SiteAware

    · Proactively identify and resolve construction problems before they develop

    · Recommend techniques and details for building systems

    · Participate in VDC coordination process where applicable

    · Maintain a clean and orderly jobsite

    · Assist with maintaining excellent Owner/Architect relations

    · Work with supervisory personnel and employees, engineers, architects, subcontractors, inspectors, and suppliers to improve construction methods and resolve production issues

    · Share best practices and lessons learned with project team and on the ANDRES Forum

    · Employ Lean Construction practices/principles

    · Must walk the construction site frequently every day

    · Able to work long hours in extreme heat/cold conditions as required

    · Able to physically negotiate the hazards of a new construction work site (i.e. uneven surfaces, floor openings, heights, etc.)

    · Seek consistent improvement and the elimination of waste

 

Physical Requirements and Work Environment:

  • Must walk the construction site frequently every day

  • Able to work long hours in seasonal conditions as required

  • Able to physically negotiate the hazards of a new construction work site (i.e. uneven surfaces, floor openings, heights, etc.)

  • Normally office in jobsite trailer with other members of project team
