Job Purpose: To supervise all services provided by the Front Office department in order to maintain the highest level of courteous, professional, an efficient service to all guests. Plan, organize, and maintain daily checklist per shift to meet the demands of the hotel guests in an effective and efficient manner at all times. Assist Guest Services/Transportation department as needed.
Essential Functions:
- To monitor and improve the performance and consistency of the department. This includes the coordination and monitoring and discipline of all staff members to include implementation of job skills, training lists and manual programs to assist them. Establish goals with all the team members and monitor their progress on these goals.
- Ensures the Front Desk staff is consistently interacting with all guests and moving outside of pods to ensure a warm welcome to all guests arriving and departing the hotel.
- Encourages improvement and empowerment.
Experience: One year combined Front Desk and supervisory experience in hospitality preferred.
