Paid travel and daily per diem: You will frequently work out of town. Travel time to and from the job will be paid every other week. Lodging will be provided by Flatland Excavating. Per Diem will be paid per day for meals. Company vehicle or mileage reimbursement.

What You’ll Do
- Ensure daily and weekly project schedules are adhered to and deadlines are met.
- Provide training, mentorship, and hands-on guidance to crew members.
- Conduct regular safety meetings and enforce safety policies.
- Maintain a safe, organized, and compliant job site.
- Track daily material quantities and manage inventory.
- Ensure tools and equipment are properly maintained and in safe working condition.
- Complete all required daily, weekly, and project-specific paperwork.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, inspectors, and clients.
- Troubleshoot and resolve on-site issues promptly.
- Perform ongoing quality checks to ensure work meets standards.
- Represent Flatland Excavating professionally on all job sites.
What You’ll Need
- Valid driver’s license and insurable MVR required; CDL preferred (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and meet I-9 employment eligibility verification
- Completion of OSHA-10, 30, and 40 (or willingness to complete within 60 days of hire)
- Previous Construction or foreman experience preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Strong work ethic - punctual, safety conscious, and ready to pitch in where needed.
- Experience using construction tools or operating equipment
