The team at Coastline is looking to hire a Lube Truck/Technician at their Jerome, ID branch and look to find an enthusiastic candidate to round out the team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preventive Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on heavy equipment, including oil, fluid, and filter changes. Conduct minor machine repairs using various tools.
- Customer Satisfaction: Maintain high customer satisfaction through excellent work ethic, appearance, and communication.
- Inspection: Inspect machines during maintenance to identify additional repairs.
- Documentation: Document repairs thoroughly and submit information on time.
- Training: Participate in service training programs to develop skills and knowledge.
- Product Knowledge: Stay updated on John Deere and competitive products.
- Safety Compliance: Follow all safety rules and regulations.
Required Qualifications:
- Education: High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
- Operational Experience: Proficient in operating vehicles, tools, and equipment for routine maintenance.
- Technical Knowledge: Familiar with mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems in off-road, construction, lawn, or heavy equipment.
- Computer Skills: Basic computer functions; preferred experience with Service ADVISOR™ or other diagnostic tools.
- Teamwork: Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment.
- Communication: Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Toolset: Possess an adequate toolset for job responsibilities.
Work Environment
- Driving: Must be able to drive and travel in a vehicle. For the purposes of driving, must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening.
- Physical Conditions: Must be able to lift 75 pound and properly chain down construction equipment.
