Job Brief:  Serving our guests is a team effort involving Servers, Food Runners and Bussers. The primary duty of a busser is to ensure that empty tables are ready to receive new guests. A food runner’s primary duty is to pick up food as soon as the chef finishes the order, ensure the order is complete and accurate and then deliver the food to the table placing each item in front of the correct guest.

Responsibilities:

Food Runner:

  • Check the order when it is placed on the line for accuracy
  • Deliver the food in a timely manner
  • Place each plate in front of the correct guest, do not auction off any food
  • Bring the guest anything they may request from you
  • Assist the bussers and servers as needed

Requirements:

  • Some restaurant knowledge
  • Be able to carry multiple plates
  • Have good communication skills
  • Be a team player
  • Follow all Noi Thai’s standards and procedures
  • Have a current food handlers card
  • Be in good physical condition
