The 2nd Shift Warehouse Supervisor position is responsible training, monitoring employee s performance and adherence to policy. This position is responsible for meeting the needs of the customer with efficient and accurate attention to details.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

  • Meets Customer Production and Delivery. Insures workforce is within bench marked production standards for efficiency. Provides staff with sufficient work, insures employees are proficiently performing and adhering to bench marked deadlines.
  • Insures finished, assembled material is accurately documented and accounted for.
  • Responsible for management of workforce. Maintains detailed account of captured production labor hours.
  • Responsible for training and development of workforce. Accomplished via effective and constant communication during work shifts and company review process.
  • Leads a safe working environment (by practicing, reviewing and investing in conversations about safe practices and job procedures).
  • Improves Shop Efficiency, Productivity and Employee Engagement by working collaboratively, thinking creatively and providing innovative suggestions.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • 1 – 3 years of related experience preferred.
  • Previous experience managing in a production, warehouse, manufacturing and/or assembly environment. Five (5) years of experience in manufacturing and/or third party logistics (3PL) environment preferred.
  • Associates Degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Bachelor s degree from four-year college or accredited institution preferred.
  • Advanced computer skills, Microsoft Word (including: Email, Excel, PowerPoint, Graphics, Microsoft Visio, and Routine Database Activity etc.).
  • Strong communication and organizational skills; Must be capable of meeting stringent deadlines.
  • Previous experience operating power industrial truck.

    • Manual dexterity sufficient to reach and handle items.

Salary: $55K - $65K/YR
