Morgan Corp. is currently searching for an Electrical Estimator.
We are seeking an Electrical Estimator to work with our Industrial Division in our Spartanburg, SC office. Our Industrial Division provides comprehensive services in Civil, Structural, Electrical, and Mechanical scopes across the power, water/wastewater, marine, mining, and other Industrial Process markets. We work on a variety of unique projects and as such, the successful candidate will have the ability to recognize risks and develop appropriate strategies to mitigate risks, as well as strive to find methods/technologies to provide competitive advantages.
The Electrical Estimator will need to have a strong background in both power and control systems, electrical raceways, grounding installation, cable pulling, electrical gear/panel installations, terminations, and lightning protection installation. This individual will create estimates by reviewing project plans, specifications, and other bid document requirements. The Electrical Estimator will also collaborate with the Estimating Manager and other discipline estimators (concrete, structural, pipe, etc.) to develop the project, estimate, bid proposal, schedule, and other deliverables. Estimators participate in project hand-off and preconstruction activities for successful bids.

Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years in estimating, project management, or other related fields
- Proficiency in estimating software programs.
- Strong mathematical and computer skills.
- Proficiency with software systems such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Office, and Bluebeam.
- Knowledge of construction safety requirements and scheduling.
Work Environment:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands and fingers, grasp, reach with hands and arms, see, speak, and hear. Frequently stand and walk. Occasionally required to stoop, kneel, or bend. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Most work is performed in an office environment.
