Additional Requirements:

  • Frequent travel and stay out of town overnight.
  • Valid Driver’s License preferred.
  • Ability to work in all forms of weather and with heights.
  • Ability to work safely on ladders, roofs and scaffolding.
  • Ability to work overtime, weekends, as required.
  • Understanding that our work is seasonal and there will be a brief layoff period.
  • Participation in Mandatory Safety Training
  • Ability to work Monday through Friday 8-9 or10-12-hour shifts

 

Essential Job Functions

Core Field Responsibilities

  • Install, repair, and maintain commercial roofing systems including EPDM, TPO, PVC, modified bitumen, built-up roofing, and metal systems.
  • Perform tasks in accordance with Davis-Bacon wage classifications and project specifications.
  • Remove old roofing materials and prepare substrates for installation.
  • Install insulation, membranes, adhesives, fasteners, flashing, drainage components, and termination details.
  • Operate roofing tools such as drills, welders, cutters, rollers, and PPE.
  • Follow OSHA and prevailing wage labor standards if applicable.
  • Assist with material handling, site setup, cleanup, and staging.
  • Complete daily sign-in-sheets, certified payroll documentation, (if needed) and required compliance forms.

Safety & Compliance

  • Follow OSHA and company safety procedures at all times.
  • Report hazards, incidents, near misses, and injuries immediately or as outline in company safety manual.
  • Use required PPE including hard hats, gloves, safety glasses, and fall-protection systems.

Physical & Environmental Requirements

  • Lift 50–75 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Work at heights exceeding 6 feet.
  • Climb ladders, kneel, bend, crouch, and stand for long periods.
  • Work outdoors in various Pennsylvania weather conditions.
  • Exposure to noise, dust, and construction materials.
  • Must work safely on ladders, roofs, and scaffolding.

Work Environment

  • Outdoor, fast-paced commercial construction environment.
  • Exposure to heat, cold, wind, rain, and job-site hazards.
  • Overtime, weekends, or extended hours may be required.
  • Travel to job sites across Pennsylvania.
  • Must comply with all project-specific prevailing wage requirements.
