Flatland Excavating is looking for a Site Superintendent who knows how to take a project from the first shovel in the ground to the final closeout with precision, quality, and confidence.

What You’ll Do

  • Take ownership of your assigned jobsites from start to finish.

  • Execute project plans and specifications accurately and efficiently.

  • Coordinate crews, equipment, materials, and subcontractors to keep work moving.

  • Lead daily operations with a focus on safety, quality, and schedule.

  • Conduct safety meetings, enforce OSHA standards, and maintain a compliant site.

  • Ensure all work meets specs, drawings, and company quality expectations.

  • Oversee inspections, resolve issues quickly, and document progress clearly.

  • Communicate regularly with your Operations Manager on project updates, delays, and challenges.

  • Complete thorough daily reports and assist with change orders and job documentation.

What You Bring

  • Proven construction field experience—water and sewer background a plus.

  • Leadership experience as a Superintendent or Lead Foreman.

  • Strong ability to read and interpret construction drawings.

  • Familiarity with HeavyJob or similar project management systems preferred.

  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

  • A valid driver’s license and a commitment to safety and integrity.
