Job Summary
The Corporate Strategy MBA Intern supports Landmark’s strategic growth by providing actionable insights on industry trends, competitive dynamics, and adjacent market opportunities. This role is critical in shaping Landmark’s point of view on the water infrastructure industry, informing business trajectory, and identifying new areas for expansion. The Analyst will collaborate with leadership to deliver market analysis, support M&A activities, and maintain proprietary data sets to guide decision-making.
Responsibilities and Duties
Essential Functions:
- Conduct targeted research and analysis on adjacent markets, technologies, and services relevant to Landmark’s growth strategy.
- Support the evaluation of specific strategic projects, including market sizing, competitive landscape assessment, and identification of potential partners or acquisition targets.
- Prepare concise reports, presentations, and dashboards summarizing findings and recommendations for senior leadership.
- Assist in the development and refinement of Landmark’s point of view on industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging opportunities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data, validate assumptions, and ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Participate in project meetings, contribute to brainstorming sessions, and present research outcomes to stakeholders.
- Support limited M&A-related activities, such as market research and preliminary due diligence for potential opportunities.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in all research and analysis activities.
- Deliver end of summer report on select adjacency to mgmt. team and members of the board.
Qualifications and KSA
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, engineering, finance, economics, or a related field is required.
- Current MBA candidate or recent MBA graduate preferred.
Experience:
- Demonstrated experience in market research, industry analysis, or strategy through coursework, internships, or prior roles.
- Strong analytical, research, and communication skills.
- Willingness to work in-office at Southlake, TX (relocation required if not local).
- Minimal travel required.

- Ability to synthesize complex market data into actionable insights.
- Proficiency in market research tools, data analysis, and dashboard/report creation.
