As a Heavy Civil General Contractor, DCS Contracting is continuously building a pipeline of skilled concrete professionals to support upcoming roadway, infrastructure, and civil construction projects.

Typical Responsibilities (Depending on Role)

Set, align, and finish concrete forms in accordance with plans and specifications
-
Perform concrete placement, finishing, and cleanup activities
-
Read and interpret concrete and roadway plans, grades, and stringline layouts
-
Establish and maintain stringline for curb, gutter, sidewalk, and flatwork
-
Supervise and coordinate concrete crews to meet production, quality, and schedule goals
-
Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently
-
Work closely with Superintendents, Project Managers, and other field leadership
-
Maintain compliance with company safety policies and OSHA standards
Preferred Qualifications
-
Experience in heavy civil concrete, roadway, curb and gutter, sidewalk, or flatwork
-
Knowledge of concrete forming, finishing techniques, and grade control
-
Experience setting and maintaining stringline (for applicable roles)
-
Ability to read and understand construction plans and specifications
-
Strong work ethic with a commitment to safety and quality workmanship

Valid driver’s license (if applicable)
