Duties/Responsibilities: 

  • Support with general construction duties for earthwork, demolition & utility work. 
  • Loading & unloading materials and equipment. 
  • Dig trenches, compact earth, and backfill holes.
  • Take direction from the foreman and superintendent as the job progresses.
  • Operate hand and power tools of all types  
  • Responsible for the precise installation of various underground utility pipes in compliance with plans and specs

Qualifications:

  • Strong work ethic.
  • Safety-focused mentality. SAFETY is our #1 priority. 
  • Ability to lift heavy material & work in various weather conditions. 
  • Detailed oriented. 
  • Pipe laying experience for underground sewer & water utilities
  • Ability to read and interpret plans, blueprints, and grade stakes 
  • knowledge of surveying and measuring equipment (pipe laser/transits/grade rods ect.)
