The Ruhlin Company seeks to hire a Project Controls Technical SpecialistThe opening is based out of Ruhlin's Sharon Center office. This position reports to the Project Controls Manager.

Summary: Support divisional operations by improving the use of technology and promoting consistent project execution through technical support and skill development for project engineers.
Responsibilities:
    Employee Technical Development
  • Develop, coordinate, and maintain technical development initiatives supporting project engineer effectiveness.
  • Identify and evaluate learning tools and resources.
  • Support development of an advancement program.
  • Deliver technical sessions on systems and best practices.
  •  Assess technical development needs.
  • Identify project engineers for increased responsibility.
  • Maintain and update technical manuals and procedures.
    Project Execution Support
  • Collaborate with teams to ensure accurate schedules, cost tracking, and reporting.
  • Participate in handoff and closeout meetings.
    Process & Quality
  • Support gathering/organizing information for claim preparation.
  • Recommend process improvements for efficiency and consistency.
  • Review cost and schedule reports for accuracy.
  • Analyze project documentation for completeness and alignment.
  • Support project start-up and execution by ensuring reporting accuracy.
  • Assist in SOP and best practice refinement.
    Talent Acquisition & Intern Support
  • Participate in job fairs and outreach events.
  • Support internship program with mentoring and technical guidance.
Essential Skills and Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years related experience.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organization and time management.
  • Strong customer service orientation.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Knowledge of construction methods, costing, scheduling, estimating.
  • Team-focused mindset.
  • Proficient with Bluebeam, Microsoft 365, Teams, Vista, HCSS (preferred).
