The Position:

We are looking for a positive, energetic and experienced Regional Safety Manager with a wide variety of abilities that complements ISC’s culture of integrity for our Columbus Ohio Division. The Regional Safety Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and continuously improving the Health & Safety (EHS) program across assigned sites. This role ensures regulatory compliance, risk mitigation, and a strong safety culture while supporting uninterrupted operations.

Applicants should have the ability to:

  • Provide Strategic EHS leadership for multiple sites.
  • Act as the primary safety authority and subject matter expert.
  • Serve as a visible safety leader through regular site visits, audits, and engagement with frontline teams.
  • Coordinates all ISC case management with the Director of Safety & Health.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local safety regulations (e.g., OSHA, EPA, fire codes, electrical safety standards).
  • Interface with regulatory agencies, inspectors, and third-party auditors as required.
  • Ensure effective lockout/tagout (LOTO), energized work permitting, and contractor control processes.
  • Support site leaders in building strong safety engagement and ownership at all levels.
  • Monitors and tracks all audit data and trends.
  • Final reviewer of all Regional Incidents Reports.
  • Lead or support investigations of safety incidents, near misses, and high-potential events.
  • Development of Safety Action Plans (SAP) for projects and assist in project setup and staffing.
  • Participate in the Corporate Safety Team.
  • Staffing of safety personnel.
  • Assist with scheduling specific training and maintain updates on an as-needed basis.
  • Assist in preparing, Excellence in Construction, ABC STEP, and other Award submittals.
  • Support Construction Directors when requested.
  • Attend Construction Kick off meetings.
  • Monitors all ISC site safety personnel and tracks safety performance of responsible ISC job sites.

  • Ability to work with owners and other personalities in the company
  • Must have a clear MVR.
  • Occasional overnight stays as needed.
  • (5+) plus years’ experience in safety management
  • Familiar with OSHA standards and OSHA letters of interpretation.
  • Steward Safety Culture Program along with metrics, feedback, and growth opportunities.
