AutoCAD Drafter

Lavender, Inc. is looking to hire a full-time Drafter for our Headquarters located in Aliceville, AL. We are General and Mechanical Contractor with 40 years of experience. While we primarily serve the Southeast United States, we have done work on a national scale. This position is for someone to work in Tuscaloosa, AL or Aliceville, AL on a daily basis M-F 7am-3:30pm with some occasional overtime.

Qualifications Needed:

  • Experience in AutoCAD
  • Basic Knowledge of Welding and Construction
  • Good Verbal and Written Communication Skills
  • Flexibility to Work Overtime as Needed

Experience Preferred:

  • Structural Detailing
  • Piping Isometrics
  • Civil Layouts

Other Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Safety is our top priority. You must abide by the safety standards of Lavender, Inc. while working in our shop.
  • Quality is crucial as well. We aim to produce quality work the first time and meet deadlines/ goals at an efficient cost.
  • Analyze your work progress and double check your work
  • Read Construction Drawings and Blueprints
