Job Description

If you are a Paver Operator with 2 years or more of paving experience with a great team attitude and the knowledge and expertise to deliver an exceptional finished paving project, B.R. Kreider & Son, Inc., Central PA’s leading commercial paving company, is looking for you! Knowledge of paver maintenance, asphalt materials, luting techniques, transverse and longitudinal joints, grades, etc. is important.

Responsibilities

  • Smooth and consistent operation of paver
  • Straight edges and smooth radiuses
  • Proper maintenance of the paver
  • Proper job layout
  • Provide proper amount of asphalt to finish each pass
  • Proper setup of electronic grade equipment
 

Experience & Qualifications

  • Valid Driver's License Required, CDL A preferred
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • 2 years of paving experience
  • Great team attitude and communication skills
  • Knowledge of asphalt materials, luting techniques, transverse and longitudinal joints, grades, petromat and petrotac
