Pay Range: Non-Union $40–$68 per hour (DOE), non-exempt.
Union: CBA rates will apply

Here’s a deeper dive into your responsibilities:
- Learn, follow, and promote company safety and quality protocols.
- Support Stratus implementation at the shop and field level
- Assist with Stratus development and development support as required
- Support process workflow improvements and documentation thereof
- Manage the Stratus page and document applicable procedures
- Support Shop Leads in the implementation of Stratus and the continuous improvement process
- Support the Shop and Stratus Team’s Leading Measures
- Monitor Stratus for:
- Distribution of Fab Tix packages
- Accurate status of shop work packages
- Accurate / thoroughness of FRP’s and FWP’s
- Accurate / thoroughness of quantity tracking
- Assist in the development and preparation of shop schedules as required
- Interface and coordinate with internal clients and operational support teams on schedule
- Work as an interface between the VCS/BIM team and the fabrication shops when required
- Represent JH Kelly at both internal and external client meetings
- Keep management informed of Stratus development and or implementation issues
- Maintain proactive and positive relationships with shop management and craft supervision
- Maintain proactive and positive relationships with customer representatives, vendors, suppliers, subcontractors, safety, VCS/BIM, accounting, IT, and all project teams
- Perform additional tasks as assigned to support the needs of the business
What You Bring
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Technology, Construction Management, or Manufacturing preferred
- Experience: Minimum of five (5) years of experience in Construction, Manufacturing, or related field
- Preferred: Piping and Mechanical experience
- Familiarity with Mechanical operations and other applicable mechanical construction experience
- Understanding of Mechanical Engineering principles
- Proficient in reading P&IDs and Piping Isometrics
- Required Skills:
- Proficiency with Stratus or similar construction workflow management platforms
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Self-starter, motivated, and takes initiative
- Organized and productive
- Ability to proactively build and cultivate relationships
- Comfortable in a fast-paced environment with multiple tasks and projects at hand
- Energetic and eager to prioritize workload and tackle new projects and ideas
- Fully proficient in Microsoft Office and Bluebeam, with intermediate skills in Excel
- Familiarity with Critical Path Method (CPM) Scheduling, using MS Project or comparable applications
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required to travel between shops, offices & jobsites
Physical Requirements
Physical requirements for this role include the ability to transition frequently between an office and fabrication shop setting. In the office, the individual must be able to sit for extended periods while working at a computer, performing repetitive tasks such as typing and using a mouse, and communicating by telephone. In the field, the individual must be capable of standing and walking for extended periods on various surfaces, including uneven terrain, and climbing stairs as required. The role also necessitates the ability to kneel, crouch, and crawl to view/inspect tight spaces, as well as occasionally lifting 40 pounds. Good vision and hearing are essential for reading plans, inspecting work, and communicating. The individual must also be adaptable to working outdoors in various weather conditions, adhere to site specific dress code, and comply with safety requirements by wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) such as hard hats, gloves, safety glasses, and steel-toed boots. Flexibility to travel between job sites and work outside regular business hours when necessary is also required.
