About the Role

We’re hiring an IT Intern to assist our Information Technology team with hands‑on support for hardware, software, networking, and company systems. You’ll work alongside experienced IT professionals, gain exposure to business‑critical systems, and see how technology supports daily operations across multiple locations.

This part‑time, summer internship is approximately 24 hours per week, providing flexibility while helping you build real‑world IT skills.

What You’ll Do

• Provide end‑user support for desktop systems, applications, and voice communication tools
• Assist with basic troubleshooting for LAN, WAN, and network systems
• Support PC hardware, operating systems, and software installations
• Help identify, document, and report system issues
• Monitor antivirus tools and assist with malware/spyware cleanup
• Assist with inventory of hardware, software versions, and system configurations
• Help maintain documentation for IT infrastructure
• Support IT projects following company methodology
• Provide basic training to users on company‑approved software
• Travel occasionally with IT staff to job sites or business locations
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged periods of sitting and standing
• Ability to lift and move items up to 10 pounds
• Ability to safely access and navigate office and job site environments
• Occasional travel required

What You Bring

• Currently enrolled in an IT‑related program or at least 6 months of related IT experience
• Interest in learning about IT systems, networks, and support
• Basic understanding of Windows operating systems, Office 365, and PC hardware
• Familiarity with networking concepts, antivirus tools, and mobile device configuration
• Strong communication skills and a professional, team‑oriented attitude
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment
• Dependability, willingness to learn, and commitment to safety
