Job Title: Sheet Metal Helpers

Location: Decatur, Alabama
Employment Type: Full-Time

Pay: $18-$26, Based Upon Experience

Per Diem: $100 if over 75 mi to Site

Position Overview:

We are looking for a skilled Sheet Metal Helpers to join our HVAC Team in Decatur, AL. This position involves hands-on work installing, fabricating, and maintaining HVAC and sheet metal systems on commercial and industrial projects. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-conscious, and takes pride in quality workmanship.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, assemble, and secure HVAC equipment and duct systems according to plans and specifications.
• Fabricate and fit sheet metal components including ducts, fittings, and transitions.
• Assist with layout, measurement, and material preparation.
• Perform repairs, replacements, and preventative maintenance as directed.
• Work under the supervision of the HVAC Supervisor to ensure quality and efficiency.
• Follow all company safety policies and OSHA standards.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in good condition.
• Support other trades and crew members as needed to complete project goals.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year of experience in HVAC installation or sheet metal work.
• Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints or drawings.
• Familiarity with hand and power tools used in HVAC and sheet metal work.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship.
• Reliable transportation and a strong work ethic.
• Willingness to work outdoors and in a variety of construction environments.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Trade school or apprenticeship experience in HVAC or sheet metal.
• EPA certification.
• OSHA 10 certification.
