SAFETY SYSTEMS & ANALYTICS ADMINISTRATOR
McGough is seeking a Safety Systems & Analytics Administrator to support the Safety Department through coordination of training initiatives, administration of safety technology platforms, and delivery of actionable safety data insights. This role strengthens the infrastructure behind our safety programs by ensuring systems are optimized, reporting is accurate, and performance metrics are clear and meaningful. The position connects field safety operations with corporate functions, helping transform data into practical insight that drives proactive risk reduction and continuous improvement.
Working closely with Safety leadership, Operations, HR, Marketing, and IT, this individual ensures that safety programs are supported by reliable systems, measurable outcomes, and consistent communication. The ideal candidate is organized, technically capable, analytical, and able to translate complex safety data into clear, actionable information for diverse audiences.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Business, Analytics, Communications, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 2–5 years of experience in safety administration, data analytics, systems administration, or a related function.
- Experience managing databases, dashboards, or reporting systems.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience supporting training coordination or compliance programs.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred:
- Experience within construction or a related industry.
- Familiarity with safety management platforms (e.g., HammerTech or similar).
- Experience with business intelligence tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
- Experience working with learning management systems (LMS).
- Exposure to marketing collaboration or content development.
Skills:

CORE RESPONSIBLITIES:
Safety Training & Compliance Support
- Coordinate and track safety training activities across the organization, including scheduling, documentation, and compliance monitoring.
- Maintain and enhance training matrices and competency tracking systems.
- Support user training and adoption of safety platforms and tools.
Safety Systems Administration
- Serve as system administrator for safety technology platforms, ensuring accurate data entry, system optimization, and user support.
- Maintain data integrity across safety reporting systems.
- Support incident reporting workflows and documentation processes.
- Partner with IT to improve integrations, reporting functionality, and system efficiency.
- Promote standardization and consistency in safety documentation and reporting practices.
Data Analytics & Reporting
- Generate recurring safety metrics and dashboards (e.g., TRIR, DART, leading indicators, training completion, observations).
- Analyze trends and provide insight to Safety leadership to support proactive risk mitigation.
- Assist in preparation of safety performance reports for executive leadership, clients, and proposals.
- Enhance visibility and transparency of safety performance through clear, consistent reporting.
Communication & Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with Marketing to support internal and external safety communications, including campaigns, award submissions, social media content, and performance summaries.
- Collaborate with HR, Operations, and field teams to align safety initiatives and ensure data accuracy.
- Contribute to cross-functional initiatives that support organizational safety goals.
- Build strong working relationships with internal stakeholders, contractors, and partners.
- Perform additional responsibilities as needed to support the Safety Team.
- Other duties as assigned.
OFFICE AND TRAVEL:
This is a low-travel position that is based out of McGough’s HQ in Roseville, MN. Occasional in-town travel and limited overnight travel may be required. Periodic jobsite visits may be necessary to understand field operations and support training or system implementation.

Position involves sitting for extended periods of time at employee’s workstation and during meetings. Employee may be required to visit construction jobsites which may expose the employee to dirt, dust, uneven surfaces, outdoor weather conditions and extreme temperatures.
