JOB DESCRIPTION:
Technical Intern II is an entry level technician position which assumes limited or no formal prior training or experience. Technical Intern II is responsible for department specific tasks as directed by department management and provide support in order to complete assigned projects. Assignments typically include a mixture of field and office duties, working on teams and independently. Field assignments, depending on technical group assignment, can be frequent to constant and duration can extend beyond one week.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Learn, acquire, and develop basic technical skills.
- Follow the chain of command and fulfill tasks as instructed by supervisor.
- Attend meetings, conferences, and trainings as recommended by supervisor.
- Take meeting minutes or prepare notes as instructed by supervisors or teammates.
- Learn and assist with writing proposals and project management as needed basis.
- Able to learn, use and maintain equipment.
- Collect data and gather information or documents.
- Perform research as instructed by supervisor.
- Run general department related errands.
- Manage databases, recordkeeping and prepare reports as directed by supervisor.
- Learn, acquire, and understand professional and ethical responsibilities toward co-workers, the corporation, regulatory agencies, and clients.
- Work with team leads to operate within standard procedures and protocols for day-to-day activities to promote consistency and accuracy.
- Work with Team Leads to develop and maintain QC checklists and procedures for deliverables and ensure that these are being implemented effectively.
- Maintain regular communication with team leads to promote consistency between projects and offices.
- Complies with all applicable safety guidelines and standards.

- Treat co-workers and clients with respect and courtesy including good interpersonal skills.
- Maintains professional appearance and demeanor.
- Able to exhibit high level of confidentiality.
- Learn and perform other duties as assigned.
SALARY: $19.00-$23.00 (Hourly)
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
- Must be enrolled in an accredited university in pursuit of a Bachelor’s in science or engineering field.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
- Must be able to pass drug and alcohol test.
