Job Title: Junior Electrical Project Manager

Location: Upstate New York

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Junior Electrical Project Manager to join our team. In this role, you will support senior project managers in coordinating electrical construction projects from inception to completion. You will assist in planning, scheduling, budgeting, and ensuring projects meet quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the planning and coordination of electrical projects.
  • Support with project scheduling, resource allocation, and budgeting.
  • Help prepare project estimates and cost analyses to ensure accurate forecasting and financial control.
  • Track project progress and report on milestones to senior managers.
  • Collaborate with engineers, subcontractors, and clients to ensure specifications are met.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and local regulations.
  • Help prepare project documentation, contracts, and RFIs.
  • Attend project meetings and assist in issue resolution.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Construction Management, Engineering, or related discipline) preferred but not required.
  • 1-2 years of experience in electrical construction or project coordination (internships count!).
  • Basic understanding of electrical systems, codes, and regulations.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Primavera, etc.).

Salary Range:

$65,000 to $95,000 per year
