As a Property Manager, you’ll oversee the day-to-day operations of residential properties—keeping rental homes in top shape, coordinating maintenance, and supporting both tenants and property owners. You’ll enjoy the satisfaction of managing successful turnovers, handling leasing details, and maintaining trusted relationships with clients and residents alike.

What You’ll Do

  • Coordinate move-ins and move-outs, including marketing, cleaning, repairs, and security deposit processing

  • Manage occupied units: rent collection, maintenance calls, and lease compliance

  • Communicate with property owners, providing monthly reports and updates

  • Attend required training and continuing education events to maintain your license

  • Perform related duties to ensure smooth daily operations

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high-quality, timely work

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills

  • Independent worker with a professional, positive approach

  • Comfortable with Microsoft Word, Excel, and online systems

  • Willingness to learn property management software

  • Must have (or be able to obtain) a property manager’s license

  • Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation and residence within 15 minutes of Brookings

Schedule & Pay

  • Full-time, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m.–5 p.m.

  • Occasional extra hours during peak seasons

  • Pay range: $24.00–$27.00/hour, depending on experience
