Position Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Operator to join our team. The Operator will be responsible for operating machinery and equipment efficiently and safely in accordance with standard operating procedures and quality standards. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate machinery and equipment according to established guidelines and safety protocols.
- Monitor machine performance and make adjustments as necessary to ensure high-quality output.
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment and report any malfunctions or safety concerns to the supervisor.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to support safety and efficiency.
- Record production data and complete required logs and reports.
- Assist with routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting of machinery as needed.
- Support quality control processes by inspecting products for defects and ensuring compliance with specifications.
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively to achieve production targets.
- Follow company policies, procedures, and safety regulations at all times.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience operating machinery or equipment in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to learn new equipment quickly.
- Good attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs, as required.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to work rotating shifts or overtime, as necessary.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certification or training in machinery operation, manufacturing processes, or related field.
- Previous experience with automated equipment or computerized control systems.
- Knowledge of safety standards and practices in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and schematics.
