A growing, full-service Building Automation Systems and Service provider is looking for a HVAC Controls Team Lead!

Essential Functions:

• Mentor and develop system specialists to enhance skills, professionalism, and technical ability.
• Provide performance management, feedback, and coaching for direct reports. Create and execute training plans.
• Assess team performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Oversee field teams to ensure schedules are maintained and projects progress efficiently.
• Recruit, hire, and retain team members while fostering a supportive, performance-based culture.
• Maintain expertise in current and legacy building automation systems protocols.
• Drive quality and safety standards, ensuring continuous improvement and efficiency.
• Troubleshoot, configure, and repair building automation systems and related equipment.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and commissioning agents to ensure successful project execution.
• Assist technicians in the field as needed. 

Requirements:

• Experience: 5+ years in electrical or mechanical construction or service. Preferred experience level is 4–6 years of supervisory experience in HVAC controls or building automation, however senior technicians who want to advance their career will be considered.
• Technical Skills: High competency in building automation systems, with Tridium Niagara, Reliable, or Delta Controls experience strongly desired.
• Leadership: Proven ability to coach, mentor, and lead teams. Strong planning, client relations, and communication skills.
• Additional Skills: High ethical standards, decision-making quality, and a results-driven mindset.
• Willing to work some in the office in Fort Myers and also travel to client sites to assist field technicians throughout the Fort Myers area.
