We are currently seeking an IT Manager
The IT Manager is a hands-on technical leader responsible for the day-to-day operation, security, and continuous improvement of AMC’s IT infrastructure and cloud services. This role requires deep expertise in Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, and cybersecurity best practices, with accountability for system reliability, security posture, operational maturity, and team leadership.
The ideal candidate combines strong technical depth with operational discipline, can translate strategy into execution, and is comfortable operating in a hybrid environment that includes cloud services, on‑prem infrastructure, and end‑user computing at scale.
Key Responsibilities
Azure & Cloud Infrastructure
- Own and manage AMC’s Azure environment, including identity, networking, computer, storage, security, and cost optimization
- Administer Entra ID (Azure AD), Conditional Access, MFA, identity protection, and role-based access control
- Manage Azure subscriptions, resource governance, tagging, and cost controls
- Support cloud-based workloads and integrations across Azure and Microsoft 365
- Partner with leadership on cloud roadmap execution and modernization initiatives
Cybersecurity & Risk Management
- Serve as the operational owner for cybersecurity controls and day-to-day security posture
- Implement and maintain security best practices across endpoints, servers, identity, and cloud resources
- Manage security tooling such as Microsoft Defender (Endpoint, Identity, Cloud Apps, M365)
- Participate in incident response, investigations, and remediation activities
- Support compliance initiatives, audits, legal holds, and data protection requirements
- Maintain and enforce security policies, standards, and procedures
Infrastructure & Operations
- Oversee Windows Server, virtualization platforms, storage, networking, and backup systems
- Ensure high availability, performance, monitoring, and patching of production systems
- Own operational processes including change management, incident management, and documentation
- Manage vendor relationships and support engagements
- Participate in infrastructure design decisions and major technical projects
Team Leadership & Service Delivery
- Lead, mentor, and develop IT staff (sysadmins, network, and support roles)
- Ensure timely resolution of incidents and service requests
- Establish and track KPIs related to uptime, security, and service delivery
- Improve operational maturity through documentation, automation, and standardization
Required Qualifications & Experience
- 7+ years of progressive IT experience with at least 3 years in a leadership or senior technical role
- Hands-on experience managing Microsoft Azure in a production environment
- Demonstrated cybersecurity experience in enterprise IT environments
- Strong background in Windows Server, Microsoft 365, and identity management
- Azure infrastructure services, including networking, identity management, governance, and security
- Entra ID / Azure AD, with features such as Conditional Access and multi-factor authentication (MFA)
- Microsoft Defender security suite
- Windows Server administration, virtualization technologies, backup, and storage solutions
- Security best practices, risk management strategies, and incident response procedures
Desired Certifications & Knowledge
- Azure Administrator or Architect (AZ‑104 / AZ‑305)
- Security-focused certifications (SC‑200, SC‑300, CISSP, or equivalent)

Compensation: Full-Time $120,000.00 to $150,000.00 per year
