DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES:

Sevenson Environmental Services is seeking a highly organized intern to support a company-wide SharePoint migration and document management improvement initiative. This role will help modernize how project information is structured, stored, and accessed across the organization.

 

This is an excellent opportunity for a student interested in operations, information systems, or data management to gain real-world experience supporting a large-scale business improvement project.

 

The daily duties typically include:

  • Coordinate and work with field personnel to locate, organize, and retrieve project documents
  • Upload, categorize, organize, and archive project documentation via Microsoft SharePoint
  • Assist with the implementation of standardizing file naming conventions and folder structures
  • Identify duplicate, outdated, or misplaced files and assist with cleanup efforts
  • Support ongoing efforts to improve document management processes
  • Maintain tracking logs to monitor migration progress

 

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s Degree program in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or related field.  Other job requirements include:

  • Must be comfortable making phone calls and sending emails to management personnel
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Suite – SharePoint, OneDrive or cloud-based management systems experience is a plus
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
