Solar Sales Consultant (Residential)

Albany, NY (Field-Based with Some Remote Work)

Pay: $100,000–$175,000+ (Base + Commission + Bonuses)

About the Role

AEC Solar is hiring a Residential Solar Sales Consultant to help homeowners reduce energy costs and transition to solar power.

This is a field-based sales role focused on in-home and virtual consultations. You’ll work with qualified leads, referrals, and self-generated opportunities to close new business.

What You’ll Do

• Meet with homeowners to assess energy needs and present solar solutions
• Conduct in-home and virtual sales consultations
• Explain financial options, including incentives and tax benefits
• Manage leads, proposals, and follow-up through our CRM
• Generate referrals and build relationships in the local community
• Achieve and exceed sales targets

What We’re Looking For

• Experience in B2C, in-home, or direct sales (solar or home improvement preferred)
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Self-motivated and comfortable working independently
• Ability to work evenings and weekends
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
