The team at Coastline is looking to hire a Shop Foreman at their Long Beach, CA branch.

Job Responsibilities:

• Support Service Operations: Assist in assigning jobs based on technician skills, appraise and review repair orders, monitor DTAC cases, and coordinate equipment repairs and setups.
• Technical Guidance & Oversight: Direct and assist technicians in diagnosing machine issues, inspect and maintain special tools, and recommend new tooling.
• Training & Development: Participate in required training programs and support technician performance feedback.
• Customer & Team Communication: Advise the Service Manager on customer complaints, assist with customer updates, and help coordinate safety meetings.
• Leadership Support: Act as backup for the Service Manager when needed and approve equipment releases for delivery.

Required Qualifications:

• Experience: 5–7 years as a Service Technician, preferably with John Deere and competitive equipment.
• Leadership & Communication: Proven ability to lead others and communicate effectively with individuals and groups.
• Technical Proficiency: Skilled in using Microsoft Office, internet functions, and internal systems such as Service Delivery, EQUIP, and Svap.
• Education & Certification: High School Diploma or equivalent and Forklift certification.

Physical Requirements:

• Safety Sensitive Clearances: Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening.
• Physical Conditions: Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
