Job Description

If you enjoy working on heavy trucks, have strong mechanical and diagnostic skills, are self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision, Pin Oak Service Center is interested in you! Part of B.R. Kreider & Son, Inc., Pin Oak Service Center is looking for a full-time Diesel Technician to diagnose and service heavy trucks both on-site and on job sites, including repairing brake systems, drive train and clutch replacements.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose service problems accurately and quickly on heavy trucks.
  • Perform service work efficiently and timely
  • Perform service work in a quality manner
  • Perform welding, fabrication, small engine, and electrical work
  • Perform service calls to jobsites
 

Experience & Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • License preferred: CDL Class B
  • Required:  State Inspection License
  • Ability to service, repair, and diagnose hydraulic and electrical systems
  • Experience responding to service calls and repairing equipment on site
  • Ability to repair air brakes systems, drive train and replace clutches
  • Perform preventative maintenance on trucks and commercial vehicles
  • Be self-motivated, able to work with minimum supervision
  • Be a team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
