Position: HVAC Service Technician

Position Type: Hourly, Non-Exempt

Pay: $26-$65 hourly ($55,000-$135,000 annually includes hourly and weekly bonus incentive).

Position Summary

The HVAC Service Technician is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining residential and commercial heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. This role is essential to delivering dependable comfort solutions while maintaining high standards of safety, workmanship, and customer care.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair residential and commercial HVAC systems, including heating, cooling, and ventilation equipment.
  • Perform routine maintenance and system inspections to ensure proper performance and efficiency.
  • Communicate findings, recommendations, and completed work clearly with customers.
  • Complete service documentation accurately, including service tickets, materials used, and job notes.
  • Maintain company vehicle, tools, and equipment in clean and working condition.
  • Respond to on-call or emergency service requests as needed
  • Follow all company safety standards and procedures.
  • Educate customers on system care, efficiency improvements, and available upgrades.
  • Work collaboratively with team members to support daily operations and overall service quality.

Required Qualifications

• 1-2 years of hands-on field experience operating, maintaining, and repairing HVAC equipment
  • Experience servicing residential and commercial HVAC systems
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability
  • Ability to read wiring diagrams and technical manuals
  • Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
  • Comfortable using technology such as iPads or mobile field service applications
  • Strong communication and customer service skills

Working Conditions

• Work may be performed in attics, crawl spaces, rooftops, and outdoor environments
  • Exposure to varying weather conditions throughout the year
  • Physical requirements include lifting, climbing, bending, and extended periods of standing
