Career Opportunity!

Tripp County is seeking to hire a team of three individuals for summer seasonal mowing. Reporting to Highway Department personnel, the job entails primary responsibility for mowing county road rights-of-way and approaches.  Equipment will be provided including modern Puma 165 tractors with fully enclosed cabs and bat wing, pull-type mowers.  Other duties and projects will be performed on rainy days as assigned.

You must:

• Be at least 18 years of age
• Possess a valid SD driver's license
• Have a good work ethic with self-motivation to get the job done
• Pass a pre-employment drug screen

These things are preferred but we'll train:

• Ability to operate a tractor with pull-behind mower

What we offer you!

• Summer schedule from June to September
• Typical hours - 7:30am - 5:30pm Monday through Thursday with potential Fridays and overtime
• Competitive pay at $18 per hour
