What You’ll Be Doing

• Operate heavy equipment to move dirt, rock, materials, and equipment
• Spread, smooth, and level materials on roadbeds and job sites
• Read grade and adjust machine settings as needed
• Perform daily pre-shift inspections for safety and mechanical issues
• Coordinate with crew members using hand and audio signals
• Inspect, clean, maintain, and assist with minor equipment repairs
• Work flexible hours, including nights and weekends when needed
• Work outdoors in all seasons and changing weather conditions
• Follow all company safety rules, policies, and procedures
• Complete additional tasks as directed by supervisors

What We’re Looking For

• 3+ years of experience in the civil construction industry
• 2+ years of verifiable equipment operating experience
• Valid driver’s license
• Willingness to travel to multiple job sites
• Able to pass pre-employment screening (drug screen and background check)
• Strong work ethic and team-first mindset
• Takes safety seriously and communicates well with others
• Reliable and able to work in fast-paced environments
