POSITION TITLE:  Project Engineer Intern

DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES:

Opportunity to join an industry leader and trusted first choice in remedial construction and environmental dredging.  Founded as a general construction business in 1917, Sevenson entered the remediation business in 1979 when it became the principal contractor for the remediation of the Love Canal site, Niagara Falls, New York.  Sevenson is a nationally recognized environmental remediation contractor, ranked No. 3 on Engineering and News Record in the country, working with clients to remediate contaminated sites across the United States. 


We are actively seeking ambitious and detail oriented Project Engineers to support our remediation project in Gibbsboro, New Jersey.

 

The daily duties typically include:

  • Reporting daily construction activities
  • Daily production and waste tracking logs
  • Material tracking
  • Assist performing monitoring and sampling
  • Collecting as-built excavation limits with GPS surveying equipment
  • Coordination of site deliveries
  • Assist the superintendent and PM in coordinating construction activities
  • Various other administrative tasks

 

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
Currently enrolled in a college program working towards a degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, Science or similar program.  Other job requirements include:

  • Excellent verbal and written/technical communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Microsoft Office Suite
