Keystone Engineering is seeking a Project Controls Coordinator to join our team.

Position Type: Full-Time

Location: Lafayette, LA

Work Environment:    Office

Physical Demands:      Sedentary

Travel Requirements: Occasionally site visits required

 

Essential Functions:

  • Meets with clients to discuss and understand project scope and schedule.
  • Works interactively with project team members to accurately maintain and update schedule.
  • Assists with establishing project schedules and budgets, including resourcing.
  • Monitors and controls schedule through sound cost engineering principles.
  • Independently performs a variety of assignments requiring the application of standard scheduling techniques.
  • Interfaces and coordinates with internal and external clients as required for successful project execution.
  • Analyzes schedule trend variations and informs project management of potential problem areas. Recommends solutions or recovery plans to mitigate schedule impact or delay.
  • Prepares and analyzes schedule status reports.
  • Analyzes and forecast time/cost impact.
  • Coordinates with procurement and engineering for drawing and equipment delivery schedules.
  • Measures, reports, and analyzes engineering progress using an earned value basis.
  • Develops the project cost and schedule control base.

Minimum qualifications:

  • 10 years of experience
  • Primavera P6 experience
  • Strong Written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-motivated, creative, organized, and solution advocate.
