Position Summary

The HVAC Commercial Installer is responsible for installing commercial and industrial heating and cooling systems. This role requires strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality workmanship and safety.


Key Responsibilities

  • Install commercial and industrial HVAC systems, including rooftops, furnaces, central air systems, and refrigeration equipment
  • Work with hydronic, steam, forced hot air, and heat pump systems
  • Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and installation specifications
  • Perform refrigerant piping installation in accordance with best practices
  • Braze and solder piping as required
  • Assist with basic system controls and wiring connections
  • Maintain high standards of installation quality and safety
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year of HVAC installation or service experience, or equivalent technical training
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Basic knowledge of HVAC systems, controls, and wiring
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to pass pre-employment screening, including drug and background checks
  • Commitment to company policies and safety standards

  • Pay range: $20 – $50 per hour (based on experience and qualifications)

Work Environment

This is a field-based role that may include:

  • Working outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • Driving to and between job sites
  • Frequent standing, climbing, kneeling, and lifting (up to 50 lbs)
  • Working with construction materials, equipment, and tools
