Compensation & Benefits
Pay Range: $24- $32 per hour

Position Overview
As a Plumbing Mechanic, you will install, maintain, and repair plumbing systems on commercial job sites. This role is ideal for an experienced tradesperson with strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality and safety.
A Journeyman Plumber License is preferred but not required.
What You’ll Do
Professionalism and Work Ethic
- Maintain a positive, solutions-focused attitude on the jobsite
- Demonstrate reliability, punctuality, and strong work habits
- Work a full scheduled shift and maintain productivity
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe
Technical Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair commercial plumbing systems
- Ensure all work meets applicable codes and industry standards
- Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and project instructions
- Coordinate work with other trades on multi-craft job sites
- Deliver clean, professional, high-quality workmanship
Safety
- Follow all OSHA and company safety policies and procedures
- Use required personal protective equipment at all times
- Identify and report unsafe conditions immediately
- Participate in safety meetings and promote safe work practices
Problem Solving and Coordination
- Identify issues or discrepancies and communicate them promptly
- Assist in developing solutions to jobsite challenges
- Escalate complex issues to Lead Mechanics or Foremen when needed
- Prepare tools, materials, and equipment for daily tasks
- Help ensure materials are stored and used efficiently
Communication and Teamwork
- Communicate clearly and respectfully with team members and supervisors
- Follow directions accurately and seek clarification when needed
- Support a positive and collaborative jobsite culture
- Contribute to team success through cooperation and accountability
What We’re Looking For
- Several years of plumbing experience in commercial or industrial settings
- Journeyman Plumber License preferred but not required
- Strong knowledge of plumbing systems and installation practices
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications
- Dependable, safety-focused, and detail-oriented
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to pass pre-employment screening, including drug screen and background checks
Work Environment and Physical Requirements
This is a hands-on role in a construction environment and may include:
- Frequent standing, bending, climbing, kneeling, and lifting
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Travel to job sites, sometimes including extended drive time
- Exposure to construction materials, tools, and equipment
