Job Description

Are you someone who enjoys a variety of tasks, likes driving and is looking for a part-time position?  Pin Oak Service Center, a division of B.R. Kreider & Son, Inc., is in search of a part-time Parts Runner.  A successful candidate would be a team player with a positive attitude and be able to fulfill the responsibilities listed below.  This would be an approximate 24 hours/week dayshift position (Mon., Tues., & Wed.). 

Responsibilities

  • Skilled at driving safely and efficiently
  • Knowledge of roads and the Southeast PA area
  • Ability to find alternate routes when traffic congestion is observed
  • Ability to follow instructions and communicate well with customers, vendors, etc. - record messages if needed for the task
  • Comprehend information to ensure quality delivery
  • Ensure accuracy of parts being picked up
  • Ability to be very aware of surroundings and conditions
  • Check mail bins throughout the day
  • Daily maintenance of delivery vehicle and ensuring vehicle reflects a good company image
  • Consider and take appropriate safety actions necessary to transport items
  • Wash and detail vehicles/equipment
  • Assist in general facility upkeep
  • Assist in delivering vehicles, as needed

    Qualifications

    • Valid Driver’s License required
    • CDL License preferred
    • Must be at least 18 years of age
