What You'll Do

As the Director of Sales & Marketing, you will lead all sales and marketing initiatives while driving occupancy growth and building strong relationships throughout the local community.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Develop and execute strategic sales and marketing plans to achieve occupancy goals.
  • Manage daily sales operations and maintain an active lead pipeline.
  • Conduct community tours and sales presentations for prospective residents and families.
  • Build and maintain relationships with referral sources, healthcare providers, hospitals, rehabilitation centers, and community organizations.
  • Plan and participate in networking events, outreach activities, and community engagement opportunities.
  • Create and oversee marketing campaigns, advertising initiatives, newsletters, and public relations efforts.
  • Coordinate move-in processes to ensure a positive experience for residents and families.
  • Monitor lead conversion metrics, sales performance, and occupancy trends.
  • Develop departmental budgets, forecasts, and staffing plans.
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies and applicable regulations.
  • Collaborate with community leadership to support resident satisfaction and community growth.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Executive Director.

Leadership Responsibilities

  • Supervise, coach, and support team members within the Sales & Marketing department.
  • Provide leadership, accountability, and performance management to achieve departmental goals.
  • Exercise sound judgment and independent decision-making while supporting overall community objectives.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of successful sales or marketing experience in senior living, healthcare, hospitality, or a related industry.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
  • Strong networking, relationship-building, and customer service skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems, Microsoft Office, and digital marketing platforms.
  • Valid Minnesota driver's license and proof of automobile insurance.
  • Ability to travel locally for outreach and networking activities.

Physical Requirements

  • Sit, stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, and climb stairs throughout the workday.
  • Reach overhead and perform fine motor tasks.
  • Lift and carry up to 15 pounds unassisted.
