Key Responsibilities

  • Service and repair irrigation systems as directed by clients, Irrigation Foreman, and Account Managers.
  • Assist with seasonal irrigation system start-ups and winterizations.
  • Program irrigation controllers and monitor site conditions for optimal system performance.
  • Troubleshoot irrigation issues and provide recommendations and estimates to clients.
  • Perform irrigation repairs including valves, heads, lines, wiring, and controllers.
  • Accurately track time, materials, and job details for billing and reporting.
  • Maintain consistent attendance and participate in safety meetings and training.
  • Communicate effectively with homeowners and team members to ensure excellent service.
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in clean and working order.
  • Assist with snow removal services during winter season.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Strong communication skills in English; ability to interact professionally with clients.
  • Experience in irrigation repair, maintenance, or related field preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of landscape installation and maintenance.
  • Ability to troubleshoot irrigation systems including conventional and 2-wire systems.
  • Ability to operate tools and equipment used on job sites.
  • Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
  • Dependable, motivated, and willing to learn.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical labor for extended periods.
  • Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
  • Ability to work extended hours during peak season, including 10+ hour days.

Work Environment

  • Work is performed outdoors at residential client properties.
  • Exposure to weather conditions, irrigation systems, and active job sites.

  • Quality and accuracy of irrigation repairs and system performance.
  • Customer satisfaction and communication.
  • Efficiency in completing repairs and service calls.

Wage DOE
Full-time position
