GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Structural design for new industrial facilities.
• Work independently and in collaboration with Senior Structural Engineer(s).
• Design work includes deep foundations, pile caps, mat foundations, spread footings, equipment support towers and bridges (truck/rail receiving tunnels), and vertical slipform concrete superstructures.
• Perform reinforced concrete, reinforced masonry, and structural steel design for industrial facilities.
• Interact with engineers, drafters, and project managers and superintendents in the development of preliminary and final structural design documents.
• Consider environmental loading such as wind, seismic, and snow, as well as stored bulk material loading on structures.
• Familiarity with IBC, ASCE, ACI, and AISC documents.
• Jobsite inspections intermittently required.

   

  REQUIREMENTS:

   

• Bachelor of Science in Civil/Structural Engineering and three (3) years of experience with reinforced concrete design.
• Active FE license/EIT designation with the intent and ability to obtain PE license within 1-2 years.
• Experience with AutoCAD, and RISA-3D structural analysis computer software.
• Interest in designing industrial facilities; specifically, reinforced concrete structures.
• Pre-employment, post-offer drug screen required.
