Introduction:

We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused Part-Time Driver to transport employees and individuals participating in a transition work program to and from job sites.

This role is critical to daily operations and requires a high level of responsibility, attention to safety, and professionalism.

 

Job Duties:

  • Safely operate a 15-passenger company van (including driver)
  • Transport crew members and/or transition program participants between company locations and job sites
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any issues
  • Conduct passenger headcounts before and after each trip to ensure accountability
  • Enforce safety requirements, including seatbelt use and appropriate conduct
  • Maintain a clean, organized vehicle and professional environment
  • Follow assigned schedules, routes, and adjust as needed
  • Communicate with supervisors regarding delays, incidents, or concerns
  • Complete basic logs, mileage tracking, and reports as needed

Qualifications

  • Valid driver’s license
  • Clean driving record (subject to MVR review)
  • Ability to pass background check and drug screening
  • Strong reliability, punctuality, and attention to safety

Preferred:

  • Experience driving vans or transporting multiple passengers
  • CDL with Passenger endorsement (preferred, not required)

    Work Environment

    • Driving a company vehicle for extended periods
    • Transporting both employees and program participants
    • Exposure to varying weather, road, and job site conditions

     

    Physical Requirements

    • Ability to sit for extended periods while driving
    • Ability to enter/exit vehicle frequently
    • Ability to remain alert and aware of passengers and surroundings at all times
