Position Summary

Tiger Electric, Inc. is seeking a skilled, dependable, and customer-oriented Licensed Electrician to join our team. The Licensed Electrician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, inspecting, and repairing electrical systems in residential, commercial, and light industrial environments. The successful candidate will ensure all work meets current codes, regulations, and safety standards, delivering high-quality service to our clients.

Location: Delta, CO
Position Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Pay Rate: $24.00 – $40.00 per hour (based on licensing and experience)

Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair wiring, electrical fixtures, control devices, and related equipment in residential, commercial, and industrial environments.
• Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and the National Electrical Code (NEC) to ensure proper system layout and compliance.
• Perform inspections and tests to identify electrical hazards, malfunctions, or necessary replacements, and communicate clear recommendations to clients.
• Respond to routine and emergency service calls with accuracy, efficiency, and professionalism.
• Maintain accurate work records and detailed reports for all completed projects.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies, including use of PPE and best electrical safety practices.
• Communicate respectfully and effectively with clients, team members, and supervisors.
• Participate in continual training and certification programs to stay current with industry technology, code changes, and best practices.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current and valid state-issued electrician license (Journeyman, Residential, or Master Electrician).
• Ability to interpret blueprints, technical documents, and building codes, including the NEC.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, circuit layouts, safety protocols, and relevant regulations.
• Physical capability to stand, climb, bend, and lift up to 75 lbs for extended periods.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience as a licensed electrician.
• Experience in residential, commercial, service, or industrial electrical work.
  
• Certification or endorsements in specialty areas (such as fire alarm, low voltage, or solar installation).
• Clean driving record required.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.

Working Conditions

• Work may be performed in homes, businesses, construction sites, and occasionally in confined, high, or outdoor spaces.
• Exposure to electrical equipment, tools, and live circuits in varied weather conditions.
• Typical work hours may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, and overtime as needed.
