Position Summary

Tiger Electric, Inc. is seeking a skilled, dependable, and customer-oriented Licensed Electrician to join our team. The Licensed Electrician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, inspecting, and repairing electrical systems in residential, commercial, and light industrial environments. Location: Delta, CO
Position Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Pay Rate: $24.00 – $40.00 per hour (based on licensing and experience)

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair wiring, electrical fixtures, control devices, and related equipment in residential, commercial, and industrial environments.
  • Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and the National Electrical Code (NEC) to ensure proper system layout and compliance.
  • Perform inspections and tests to identify electrical hazards, malfunctions, or necessary replacements, and communicate clear recommendations to clients.
  • Respond to routine and emergency service calls with accuracy, efficiency, and professionalism.
  • Maintain accurate work records and detailed reports for all completed projects.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies, including use of PPE and best electrical safety practices.
  • Communicate respectfully and effectively with clients, team members, and supervisors.
  • Participate in continual training and certification programs to stay current with industry technology, code changes, and best practices.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Current and valid state-issued electrician license (Journeyman, Residential, or Master Electrician).
  • Ability to interpret blueprints, technical documents, and building codes, including the NEC.
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems, circuit layouts, safety protocols, and relevant regulations.
  • Physical capability to stand, climb, bend, and lift up to 75 lbs for extended periods.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience as a licensed electrician.
  • Experience in residential, commercial, service, or industrial electrical work.
  • Certification or endorsements in specialty areas (such as fire alarm, low voltage, or solar installation).
  • Clean driving record required.
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.

  • Typical work hours may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, and overtime as needed.
