Election Project Coordinator

The Voter Poll by SSRS provides trustworthy, timely, and insightful data on American voters for major news organizations and the public. Data from The Voter Poll supports election night coverage by ABC News, The Associated Press, CBS News, CNN, FOX News Media, MS NOW, and NBC News.
SSRS is seeking Election Project Coordinators to support research and operations for the exit poll portion of the 2026 General Election. This temporary full-time role will focus on recruiting, training, and managing field interviewers, as well as assisting with election research and data review. This is a great opportunity for candidates interested in polling, politics, research, or election operations.
The position runs from August 3, 2026, through November 30, 2026. Candidates located within a reasonable commuting distance of Glen Mills, PA are preferred to allow for occasional onsite work, including initial training and Election Day.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gather necessary election research from state/local officials
- Recruit Election Day exit poll field interviewers across the US
- Oversee the training process for the field team
- Supervise and manage interviewers on Election Day
- Assist in reviewing election data on and after Election Day
- Perform other duties as the needs of the business dictate
Position Requirements:
- Associate degree in related field preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft products (Outlook, Word, Excel, and Google Suite)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
- Well-developed skills in critical thinking, problem-solving, organization, attention to detail, and time management; Ability to meet assigned deadlines
- Professional attitude, self-motivation and strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally
- Flexibility to work occasional evenings and some weekends leading up to Election Day
Travel Requirements:
- Occasional onsite work in our Glen Mills, PA location (including during initial training and on Election Day).
Compensation:
- $50,000 - $55,000 annualized, prorated during the duration of the position
- Medical, dental, vision coverage offered, with SSRS contributing toward the cost of coverage
- Vacation, sick time, and company paid holidays
