Vista Veranda is looking for an experienced Director of Engineering to lead all maintenance, building operations, and safety initiatives for our beautiful senior living community in Ravenna, Ohio.

What You'll Do
- Lead all maintenance and engineering operations throughout the community
- Oversee preventative maintenance programs and daily work orders
- Ensure the community remains safe, attractive, and fully operational
- Maintain HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and building systems
- Coordinate repairs and projects with outside contractors and vendors
- Manage the community Risk Management and Life Safety programs
- Supervise, coach, and develop the maintenance team
- Develop departmental budgets and monitor expenses
- Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations
- Respond to maintenance emergencies as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or GED required
- 3+ years of maintenance or facilities leadership experience preferred
- Experience with HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general building maintenance
- EPA Certification or the ability to obtain within six months
- Experience leading maintenance teams preferred
- Knowledge of preventative maintenance programs and work order systems
- Strong troubleshooting, organizational, and communication skills
- Senior living, healthcare, hospitality, commercial facilities, manufacturing, hotel, apartment, or property maintenance experience is welcomed
