    • Job Title: Superintendent – Mission Critical / Data Center Construction

      Reports To: Vice President of Construction

      Position Summary:

      We are seeking a highly experienced Superintendent to lead the on-site execution of data centers and other mission critical construction projects in the Temple area. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in managing field operations, particularly with MEP systems, high-reliability infrastructure, and fast-paced, schedule-driven environments.

      Key Responsibilities

      • Lead all on-site construction activities for mission critical projects, including data centers and network operations centers.
      • Oversee daily field operations, including subcontractor coordination, site logistics, and workforce management.
      • Ensure projects are executed according to plans, specifications, schedule, and safety standards.
      • Coordinate and monitor MEP system installations, equipment deliveries, and system startups.
      • Manage critical milestones including inspections, commissioning activities, and turnover.
      • Work closely with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to resolve field issues and maintain workflow.
      • Conduct daily safety meetings and enforce all OSHA and company safety requirements.
      • Lead daily site coordination meetings and ensure communication of key priorities across trades.
      • Support the development and maintenance of the project schedule and provide input on sequencing and duration.
      • Ensure installation quality and adherence to specifications through routine inspections and QA/QC practices.
      • Create and implement Method of Procedures (MOPs) for work in live environments.
      • Maintain accurate documentation including daily reports, site logs, RFIs, and field directives.
      • Support preconstruction efforts with constructability reviews and logistics planning.
      • Act as the on-site liaison between the field and project leadership to report progress, risks, and manpower needs.
      • Drive timely project completion and a successful turnover to the client.

        Qualifications

        • 5+ years of experience in commercial or mission critical construction, with at least 3 years as a Superintendent or equivalent field leadership role.
        • Proven experience managing large-scale data center or mission critical projects.
        • Extensive knowledge of MEP systems, commissioning, and critical infrastructure standards.
        • Strong field coordination skills and the ability to manage multiple trades in a high-pressure environment.
        • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
        • Proficient in reading and interpreting construction documents, specifications, and schedules.
        • Experience with construction management software such as Procore, Bluebeam, and MS Project.
        • OSHA 30 Certification required.
        • First Aid/CPR certification preferred.
